Presentation Description:
Students with dyslexia often experience difficulties with visual-motor integration and visual-perceptual skills, directly influencing learning, participation, and confidence in their daily occupations. This interactive course equips occupational therapy practitioners with practical, evidence-based tools to bridge assessment findings to treatment interventions that truly make a difference. By integrating three core concepts for improving engagement and outcomes and applying a combined motivational interviewing with the medical model framework, participants will gain the skills to design effective, client-centered treatment plans. Attendees will walk away empowered to elevate student success, strengthen mental health, and deliver impactful, occupational therapy with lasting results for those living with dyslexia.
